Summoner in Light and Darkness

Having mastered the art of summoning, Linx chose to spend his time following the Final Days pursing support for all the cured tempered with their newfound capability to summon. Hoping to revive the art while avoiding mistakes of the past.

Brave Little Spark

Found fallen yet alive, the unknown miqo'te had nothing of value on his person and was left for dead in the heat of the desert. Upon being found alive, a passing merchant brought him onto his cart before proceeding onward to his destination.

Upon awakening, the merchant explained to the mysterious miqo'te that he had been found unconscious but when asking for his name, there was no answer to give as he had no recollection.

As the cart continued, there was a sudden attack by strange reptilian men, yet the stranger leapt to aid. He was able to repel the attacks with swift casts of fiery spells that took no effort to conjure--saving the merchant and his haul.

To thank the man for his heroics, he said that a hero cannot go unnamed and donned this mute as 'Links', feeling that this mysterious man would one day prove to be an important link in the chain of history.

Answering the Call

Having been suggested to seek work from the Adventurer's Guild, Links was delivered onto the city. With the promise of a future, and coin to boot, Links agreed to sign his name into the book.

L-I-N-K-S

With no surname, the proprietor wrote crossed out what he sloppily wrote and finished with:
LINX LAREN

It was the and there that he took the name as his own and one many would come to know.

A New Dawn

A family. That was his word for it.

Trading his rapier for a tome, the Allagan art of summoning brought him closer to one that couldn't be further away and forever out of reach. Though studying and experiencing the lost art, he felt the bond with the other strengthen. Oh the conversations he would have liked to have.
